Welcome to JaxPAL Mustang Football. Tackle football is open to boys and girls ages 5-12. Our brackets are as follows:

6U (Ages 5 & 6) 8U (Ages 7 & 8)

10U (Ages 9 & 10) *CLOSED* 12U (Ages 11 & 12)

All practices and home games will be held at the Monument Football Fields in Ed Austin Park, 3450 Monument Rd. Practices are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 pm - 8:15 pm.

*Dates for PAL football Skills and Conditioning camps will start June 8, 2024, from 9:00am-12:pm, in Ed Austin Park, 3450 Monument Rd, FREE for Boys & Girls Ages 6-17, special guest Jaxson Deville and The Roar.

June 22, 2024 (Hall a Famer) Leroy Butler Skills and Conditioning camp in Ed Austin Park, 3450 Monument Rd. from 9:00 am-12:00pm FREE for Boys & Girls Ages 6-17(Special guest Leroy Butler).

PAL Tackle Football will have open Skills and Conditioning camps for all players 5-12 years old, starting July 6,13,20,26 from 9:00am-12:00 pm in Ed Austin Park, 3450 Monument Rd. (Football Field). If you want your athlete to be ready for August 1 when football season starts, come join us and be better today than you were yesterday.

If your athlete is registered with PAL Tackle Football, it is important that he or she attends these work outs because the start of the 2024 football season will kick off August 1, 2024.

What does JaxPAL provide:

Your child will be fitted for Shoulder Pads and Helmet. The dates for the fitting will be given at a later date. Uniforms are included with registration. The child will keep the jersey, but the helmet, shoulder pads and game pants must be returned at the end of the football season.

What does the parent purchase:

Practice jersey, practice pants (integrated with pads in them), mouth piece, cleats (No metal bottoms)

*A spirit pack will also be offered to each player at an additional cost of $65. The spirit pack will include a game tee shirt, shorts, backpack and socks. Please consider purchasing this spirit pack, our mission is to have all of our kids look uniformity as a unit.

I want to volunteer as a coach or team parent

We need coaches! Knowledge of the game of football is required. We will also give you some training.

We also need team parents to assist coaches with:

- Contacting parents about practice times and game times

- Assist in coordinating snacks and drinks during games

Each volunteer is required to register as a volunteer for the City of Jacksonville Parks and Rec. Please download, fill out application below. Contact Parks and Rec. to schedule an appointment for your badge.
